4 good reasons to offer language courses in your company

Language courses in companies can be seen as a luxury that only some companies can afford, but language courses are a profitable investment.

Language courses in companies, in Paris like elsewhere, can be seen as a luxury. A luxury that only some companies, particularly large or profitable ones, can afford. Four reasons to prove otherwise: in-company language courses are an investment which, by their low cost and great return, can be profitable to any organization.

Reason 1: because our globalized economy requires it

The first reason is the most obvious: if your employees have mastered other languages, they can more easily establish contact overseas. And if they can communicate with foreigners, they can also negotiate with them. Each word in a foreign language learnt by an employee is another commercial opportunity for the company. In an economy as globalized as ours, to be confined to one language (including English), will only tie you down. In order to launch your business, offer language courses to your staff!

Reason 2: for team-building

If specific language courses are to be effective, group courses are most often recommended:

The collective language classes can create richer and more profitable communication situations.

These moments of discussion, debates and group learning are great opportunities for growth for your teams. Sharing new knowledge, new terms and new forms of expression can be, for your staff, the cement on which to build the foundation for your success!

Reason 3: because your language classes say good things about you

A company which gives its employees opportunities for growth is a company which invites staff to give their best. Any team leader knows that satisfied employees are more productive than those who feel left out. Give French lessons, Spanish lessons or Chinese classes in your company, it is also a way to increase your staff`s productivity.

Reason 4: to energize your human capital

Gaining new knowledge is, for an employee, a way to capitalize on other skills. But it is also, beyond that extra line on a CV, a strength in itself: a sense of growth, of personal development, of evolution. And as everyone has experienced at different times in their lives, a changing human being is part of a positive dynamic. In fact this dynamic is the most powerful anti-depressants. Who would you like to work with? Depressed employees, on the brink of death, circling their achievements, or in contrast, people in constant progress, motivated and motivational, enthusiastic and inspiring?

Give in-company language classes, whether it is English lessons in Paris, Portuguese lessons in New-York or Italian lessons in Beijing: the objectives may vary but the results are always positive!
